What I tell myself when I forget who I am
Lately I’ve found myself opening the fridge when I’m not really hungry.
Sometimes out of habit. Sometimes because my head feels full and I don’t know what to do with it.
So today I stuck a few notes on the door.
Simple phrases, but ones I need.
"You’re doing the best you can."
"One step at a time."
"Breathe."
They don’t fix anything big.
But they help bring me back to center.
And sometimes, that’s exactly what I need—a gentle reminder to return to myself.
