That sun-dried scent I love
Today was laundry day.
Nothing more than that—I washed, I hung the clothes, and let the sun do the rest.
But while I did it, I felt something familiar. Something that makes me feel good.
There’s a moment, when I hang the laundry in quiet, where everything feels a little lighter.
Maybe it’s the scent, the midday warmth, or watching the wind move through the fabric.
But there’s something in it that calms me.
It’s not about productivity. It’s not about perfection.
It’s just a simple routine that, without trying, helps me feel more in order.
And when I bring it back in later—dry and sun-scented—I feel like I did something kind for myself… even if no one notices.
